Pediatric Renal Nutrition Academy (PRNA) is a clinical skill development focused program for pediatric renal dietitians or other clinicians. 

The two-day course is split into Introductory level (Day 1) and Intermediate-advanced level (Day 2). Participants have a choice of registering for each day separately or for both.

Vitaflo USA is a Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accredited provider with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR). 

CDR Credentialed Practitioners will receive 13 Continuing Professional Education units (CPEUs) for completion of the 2-day program, 7 CPEUs for completion of Day 1, and 6 CPEUs for completion of Day 2. 

Upon completion of the program and an electronic assessment component, participants will receive a certificate attesting to the attainment of a new knowledge/skill set:

  • Certificate of Introductory Level Competency in Pediatric Renal Nutrition

and / or

  • Certificate of Intermediate-Advanced Level Competency in Pediatric Renal Nutrition

All individuals completing the program will receive CPEUs for training time regardless of whether they pass the post-course assessment and receive the certificate.
